Overview of game: Legends of Learning is an online resource game for elementary and middle school science class. Students can choose from different characters and get trained to master their knowledge on science through “combat”.  The objective of the player is to battle against the enemy. The games consist of the enemy asking the player science related questions. If answered correctly the player will be able to strike the opponent. If the players answers incorrectly it will be hit by the opponent.

The game has been designed incorporating Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The challenges/tasks range from 5-20 minutes so these can be easily integrated into. Instructors can use the platform to supplement their existing materials so as to attract students’ attention. The game aims at stimulating the students’ mind with specific grade curricula tasks. Teachers are able to create playlists, assessments, homework and monitor students’ progress. One downside on this game is that is only playable when online.
